It includes five short modules that show learners how to use the mouse and keyboard, how to search and stay safe and how to use email. Online basics gives learners a structured route to learn new skills, and a place to practise and boost their confidence.

Starting with a keyboard
They will get to grips with the keyboard, learn the functions of different keys and practise typing. -
Starting with a mouse
Learners can follow simple step-by-step instructions to learn how to use a computer mouse. -
Using email
Once completed, your learners will be able to send and receive emails, use an address book and store emails in folders. They'll get a free email address when they register. -
Using the internet safely
This is a whole course on internet safety - so no matter what they're learning or practising, this module will help them stay safe and secure online. -
Using online searches
They will learn how to search the internet and find websites that can help them save time, money and hassle!
